Can you describe your morning routine?

"My day usually starts at 7 am in the kitchen where I prepare my porridge for breakfast.”

“I quickly jump on my indoor trainer for a morning cycling workout. After a quick shower, I commute to my office, which is a 10-meter walk back into my room. I'm working remotely out of Berlin."

What are your main responsibilities as a Technical Training Manager?

"As a Technical Training Manager, my core job is to create online courses and enablement for certain parts of our product. For example, I'm responsible for our action tools and enablement, as well as our brand new transformation hub."

Ever wondered how companies keep track of their process improvements? Enter the Celonis Transformation Hub. It’s a tool that allows companies to measure and track their process improvements. It centralizes value tracking and visualization, making it easier to optimize workflows. With this hub, users can quantify business outcomes, find new optimization opportunities, and manage process improvements all in one place.

What projects are you currently working on?

"Today I'm skilling up on Symbio, which is a tool for business process modeling and management that has just been acquired by Celonis.”

Celonis and Symbioworld GmbH have joined forces, combining Celonis' expertise in process mining with Symbio's AI-driven solutions. As part of this collaboration, Symbio has been rebranded to Celonis Process Management. Together, we have introduced the Process Cockpit tool, which simplifies business process management. This partnership enhances process insights, execution, and overall performance, driving organizational transformation.

How do you balance remote working and personal time?

"For lunch, I try to go outside as much as I can since I spend a lot of time at home. Today, I'm lucky enough that my best friend Steffi is in town, and we can meet up for a quick lunch break.”

“After work, I'm heading out to the gym where I coach indoor cycling classes three times a week." As a quiet person Nicole explains coaching spinning classes; “helps me work on my outgoing personality,” as well as being “good for physical training.”

How do you incorporate sustainability into your role?

"Besides my core job, I'm also super grateful to be an active part of our sustainability committee. We're discussing how we can bring sustainability into the daily lives of every Celonaut and ensure everyone is aware and educated on all the different topics."

The Celonis Sustainability Committee brings together employees from different offices and roles, all sharing a goal: promoting sustainability. They meet every two weeks to chat about green ideas, plan local and global projects, and host community calls every quarter. Anyone passionate about making a positive impact is welcome to join—no prior expertise or strict schedule is required.

👩‍🚀 Nicole Wendler joined Celonis the first time in September 2020 and re-joined Celonis after a detour into the sustainability startup world in September 2023. She was and is again part of the Academy team in her role as Learning Experience Designer. Nicole learned about Celonis during her Master studies in Business Analytics at the University of Edinburgh when her, nowadays colleague and friend, Angela-Sophie Gebert introduced Process Mining during a guest lecture. What Nicole loves most about her job is that it has a highly technical aspect to it, whilst also allowing her to embrace her creative side. Outside of work you will find Nicole most likely somewhere on a bike.
